Look for a good match, while you're at it: someone famous, wealthy, and well-connected, to fleece them, use them, and protect yourself in case of a media frenzy.
They're making their own mistake and will sow doubt and anxiety in your mind, making you think it's you and not them. You, the naive fool, help them, thinking you're doing the right thing, while they make you crave affection, diminish you, and feel possessive jealousy in ways you've never experienced.
Don't be the Red Cross or the Salvation Army, because otherwise, at the first opportunity, if they can, they'll bury you in their place to stifle their scandal, and they will do it without hesitation.
Arm yourselves.
